A geranium for the winter.

Pelargonium sidoides is a geranium with heart-shaped leaves, velvety and slightly perfumed, and reddish-violet flowers. It is native to South Africa, particularly in the south-eastern regions.
Rabas is its name in Afrikaans, the language of the Boers, the population that descends from the Dutch settlers who reached the Cape of Good Hope in the seventeenth century, and who still lives numerous in the South African Republic.
Legend has it that the first Westerner to come into contact with this plant, at the end of the S00, was a British officer, Charles Henry Stevens, who, in search of a more lenient climate, went to South Africa, on the advice of the doctor . There he accidentally met a local healer who treated him with the root of a geranium completely unknown in Europe.
Stevens later brought this innovative preparation, of which he kept the origin secret, in England and since then its use, very popular, has reached our days and is the subject of numerous modern scientific studies.
Erbamea proposes the extract of the precious Pelargonium root in a supplement, in association with extracts of: Elderberry, useful for the functionality of the upper respiratory tract, and Thymus, which favors the fluidity of bronchial secretions and the well-being of the nose and throat.
The product is enriched with an extract of Rosa canina, which contains Vitamin C which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
