Organic Spirulina 500 mg - Green Energy
Native to the tropical and subtropical zones of Africa and Central America, Spirulina is a blue-green microalgae no more than half a millimetre in length. Its name comes from its shape: when observed under a microscope, it appears as a thin filament coiled in a spiral that moves in the water.
It has been present on Earth since the beginning of life on the planet. It feeds on substances dissolved in water and, thanks to chlorophyll photosynthesis, is at the base of the food chain and provides nourishment for higher organisms.
Spirulina is not a discovery of today and could become a resource for the future. It was known by the ancient Romans, who had seen it consumed by local populations during military campaigns in Africa; it was used by the Maya and Aztec warriors, who harvested it wild in Lake Texoco, to increase their energy and physical strength; but it is also a candidate for use by astronauts during space travel.
A resource therefore not to be overlooked to supplement a varied and balanced diet and for a supportive and restorative action, in times of tiredness and fatigue, or even when practising sport and needing more energy and physical resistance and to recover quickly after exertion.
A seaweed suitable for everyone because, growing in fresh water, it does not contain iodine.
Erbamea offers the new organic Spirulina supplement, in a pack of 150 tablets: 500 mg of algae in each tablet, with no added excipients. The organic Spirulina used is cultivated in tanks, at a temperature of 60°, in a controlled aquatic environment. This optimises its growth and avoids contact with any environmental pollutants.
