Iperic oil

The oyster extract of Iperico, better known as Iperico oil, is prepared by Erbamea with the flowering summits of this plant, just collected on the Umbrian hills, which are macerated in olive oil, in glass jars exposed to the sun, until When the oil takes on the characteristic red color.
The harvest is made at the end of June. Tradition wants the Iperico to be full bloom on June 24, St. John the Baptist's Day: this is commonly known as "St. John's Wort".
The Iperic oil is used for its emollient properties And soothing on reddened and dull skin due to excessive exposure to sun, wind and other external agents.
